Red Velvet Cake

Akhirnya.. Ms Bug berjaya gagahkan diri untuk mengupdate first entry untuk blog Ms Bug yg still baby ni.. Maklum la, Ms Bug baru je habis pantang 2nd baby, so nak cari masa terluang agak terhad (fuhh alasan)..

Ok untuk first entry Ms Bug dengan gembiranya nak bercerita pasal Red Velvet Cake yang sangat sexy,menggoda dan lagi sedap. Ms Bug dapat tahu pasal cake ni pun just recently-about 1 month ago. That time my baby was admitted due to jaundice, so boleh dikatakan sepanjang 5 hari di hospital, kerja Ms Bug selain jaga baby adalah surfing-tengok tv..

So dari situ Ms Bug dapat tahu cake ni memang susah nak jumpa di kedai-kedai cake.. And the price is so damn expensive, about RM90 per kg? What? RM90? So from that moment hati Ms Bug terpanggil2 untuk merasa dan membuat sendiri cake yang tengah hot dikalangan penggemar cake and orang yang suka masak2 ni.. Disebabkan tgh berpantang, Ms Bug sabarkan hati dan pada hari ke-33 berpantang Ms Bug dengan degilnya telah menyiapkan sebiji cake Red Velvet walaupun mendapat jelingan tajam from my mom hehe..

The reason why this cake is so damn expensive is because of its expensive ingredients used to make this cake, especially for the topping.. So kira memang berbaloi lah if some people sell it at RM90. Disebabkan sedap, Ms Bug dah 2 kaki masak cake ni dan yang paling baru- semalam bersempena birthday hubby Ms Bug..

And for those yang berminat nak buat cake ni, I memang encourage sangat2 u all mencuba. Memang berbaloi sebab cake ni sangat enak dan lazat.. Cake ni ada rasa cocoa sikit (not so strong) and masam2 skit - gabungan cocoa powder + buttermilk + vineger.. So bila dimakan bersama dengan cream cheese frosting - fuhh memang besttttt...

Introduction

I love cooking and baking since i was small. I still remember during my childhood, especially during Raya, 1 week before Raya actually - my mother n my late grandmother (i called my gradma as Maktok) will be busy baking cookies and cakes for the special occasion.. I love that moment whereby my mother will do the measurement, mixing the ingredient and my Maktok will take care of the oven.. And me? As a kid macam biasa la - tukang sibuk.. And become the quality control.. I love when the cookies hangus or not in shape, so tak yah tunggu raya ngappp terus masuk mulut dulu hehehe..

I believe my hobbies or should i call it as passion comes from my mom n Maktok.. Bak kata orang ke mana tumpahnya kuah kalau tak ke nasi?? masa kecik-kecik my mom play a big role to develop my hobbies by giving me some of the cookies dough for me to play with it.. With the dough i will do some decoration like put some choc chip or choc rice or nuts on top of it n pass it to my Maktok for her to bake in the oven..

Basically, the main reason why i create this blog is for me to compile all recipe that i've tried and i wanna share it with everyone that have the same passion with me.. Besides, this blog will also act like a journal which will record my daily activities with my loves one..
